Conger Suite

Queen Bed + Full Bed + Single pull out couch. Honoring NYS Senator Benn Conger who built this home as his private residence in 1921. He was also founder of the Corona Typewriter Co. here in Groton. This spacious 625 sq foot, two- room suite located on the second floor of the main house features a queen size bed, full size bed and a single pull-out couch, and a 40” flat screen tv. With clawfoot tub.

Dempsey Suite

King Bed Honoring a fine Groton family who resided and prospered in this home for much of last century. This cozy, 510 sq foot ground floor suite features a king size bed, pull-out sleeper sofa, full bath with a jetted tub, gas fireplace, 32” flat screen tv and a double patio porch with a private entrance overlooking the grounds.

Welthea Marsh Suite

King Bed This suite was named after Welthea Marsh who was elected President of the First National Bank of Groton in 1896. She was one of the first women in the country to serve as President of a National Bank. This beautiful 350 sq foot suite features a king size bed, single pullout sleeper sofa, full bath with a jetted tub and standup shower, gas fireplace, a large balcony overlooking the grounds and a private entrance.

Carriage Room

King Bed In 1876, the Groton Carriage Company became an incorporated business manufacturing carriages, wagons, and cutters. With a statewide demand for their quality products. This 320 sq foot room featuring a King size bed is located on the first floor of the Victorian house. It includes a gas fireplace, 32” flat screen tv, large balcony a jetted tub and standup shower.

Smith Corona Room

King Bed Groton was once known as the “Typewriter Capital of the World.” This typewriter manufacturing company became Smith Corona Marchant in later years and closed manufacturing in Groton in the 1980s. This second floor 350 sq foot room features a king size bed, 32” flatscreen tv, gas fireplace, a large balcony overlooking the beautiful grounds and a jetted tub.

Terrence C. Graves Room

Queen Bed Terry grew up in Groton and was a United States Marine Corps officer who was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor for his "outstanding courage, superb leadership and indomitable fighting spirit" on 16 February 1968, during the Vietnam War. Located on the second floor of the Victorian house this room has a queen size bed, 32” flat screen tv, gas fireplace, large balcony and two-person jacuzzi tub.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Reservations may be prepaid by check or with a major credit card. Reservations cancelled with less than two weeks' notice are subject to a full charge unless rooms can be re-sold. All cancellations may be subject to a twenty-five-dollar accounting fee. Please note that these policies are vital to the management of a small country inn. There is a 90 day cancellation for Cornell graduation.

SCHEDULED DEPOSIT

3 days before arrival, 100% of the reservation balance will be collected. If a reservation is booked "last-minute" (within the scheduled time frame), the initial deposit will be collected in addition to the scheduled amount. Applies to: all reservations.

CHILDREN & PETS

Children are welcome with an accompanying adult. Children age 12 and under stay free. Pets are welcome. Pets must weigh under 15 pounds.
